境外學生實習需知

✨我如何參加實習課程呢 How can I participate in the internship course？

1.外國學生可以閱讀「實習介紹」分頁內容，了解如何找實習機構、實習課程類別、工作型及一般型實習差異等你必須要知道的實習大小事，並詳閱「職場勞動權益及安全需知」。

International students can read the content on the "Internship Introduction page" to understand how to find internship institutions, the types of internship courses, the differences between work type and general type internships, and other important internship matters you need to know. Please also review the "Workplace Labor Rights and Safety Requirements."

2.若進行工作型實習，請至勞動部「外國專業人員工作許可申辦網」網頁申請「工作證」（ https://ezwp.wda.gov.tw/wcfonline/wSite/Control?function=IndexPage ）採線上申辦，網站提供24小時線上送件、繳費、通知及查詢等服務，學生僅需點選「申請帳號」完成註冊後，於申辦網內登打資料、上傳應備文件及繳費，即可完成申辦程序。請注意工作證效期最長為6個月，如果新工作未核發前仍繼續工作，違反就業服務法第43條規定，並處3-15萬元，雇主亦會受罰。

If you are participating in a work type internship, please apply for a "Work Permit" on the Ministry of Labor's "Foreign Professional Work Permit Application Website" (https://ezwp.wda.gov.tw/wcfonline/wSite/Control?function=IndexPage). The application is done online, and the website offers 24-hour online submission, payment, notification, and inquiry services. After registering an account, students can enter their information, upload the required documents, and make the payment to complete the application process. Please note that the work permit's validity period is up to 6 months, and continuing to work without obtaining a new permit violates Article 43 of the Employment Service Act, which may result in fines ranging from 30,000 to 150,000 NTD, and the employer may also be penalized.

3.外國學生校外實習課程，除新南向國際產學合作專班外，校外實習課程、實習學分數及實習時數與本國學生學習內容均一致，並應符合本國生實習相關法令。

For international students participating in off-campus internship programs, except for students enrolled in the New Southbound International Industry-Academia Cooperation Program, the off-campus internship courses, credits, and internship hours are consistent with those for local students and must comply with relevant laws and regulations.

4.校外實習課程的修習時間，以週一至週五白天為原則。

The internship course's schedule is generally from Monday to Friday during daytime hours.

5.如果系所為必修實習課程，但因故未能順利申請並參與實習課程，可向系所反應並採取替代方案。

If the internship course is a mandatory requirement for your major, but you encounter difficulties applying for and participating in the internship, you can raise the issue to your department and explore alternative arrangements.

✨外國學生、僑生、港澳生可以在臺實習嗎 Can international students, overseas Chinese students, and students from Hong Kong and Macau participate in internships in Taiwan？

依據就業服務法第50條、教育部111年4月1日臺教技(三)字第1110033002號函及本校實習課程規定，僑外生修讀實習課程依實習類別說明如下：

Based on Article 50 of the Employment Service Act, the Ministry of Education's letter No. 1110033002 issued on April 1, 2022, and the internship course regulations of our university, the participation of overseas Chinese students, international students, and students from Hong Kong and Macau in internship courses is subject to the following explanations according to the type of internship:

學期、學年實習課程 Semester, Academic Year Internship Program	不能實習 Not Allow 如為學期中實習，依本國就業服務法規定，每週工作時數以20小時為限，無法修習實習課程；海外實習則依當地國勞動法規辦理，若符學期、學年實習課程時數要求，即可修習實習課程。 For internships during the semester, according to the regulations of the employment service law in our country, the weekly working hours are limited to 20 hours, and it is not possible to take the internship course. For overseas internships, the regulations of the local labor laws will apply. If it meets the requirements of the semester or academic year internship course hours, then the internship course can be taken.
專案實習課程 Project Internship Program	可以實習 Allow 除寒暑假可全職實習外（如上述），學期中實習每週工作時數以20小時為限，並須申請工作許可。 In addition to full-time internships during summer and winter vacations (as mentioned above), internships during the semester are limited to a maximum of 20 hours of work per week, and a work permit must be applied for.

✨大陸學生可以在臺實習嗎 Can Mainland Chinese students participate in internships in Taiwan？

依據「大陸地區人民來臺就讀專科以上學校辦法」第15條規定，大陸學生修讀實習課程依實習類別說明如下：

According to Article 15 of the "Regulations on Mainland Chinese People Coming to Taiwan for Study in Colleges and Above," Mainland Chinese students can participate in internship programs based on the following internship categories:

※依「大陸地區人民來臺就讀專科以上學校辦法」第15條規定，陸生在臺不能從事專職或兼職工作，但教育部已於103年1月22日令釋，前述工作不包括課程學習（如實習）及服務學習（如志工），陸生可擔任與課程學習相關之「研究助理」及「教學助理」，以及從事服務學習，增進社會公益。

According to Article 15 of the "Regulations on People from Mainland China Studying in Special Education Institutions or Higher in Taiwan," mainland Chinese students in Taiwan are not allowed to engage in full-time or part-time work. However, the Ministry of Education issued a decree on January 22, 2014, clarifying that this restriction does not apply to activities related to curriculum learning (such as internships) and service learning (such as volunteering). Mainland Chinese students are allowed to work as "research assistants" and "teaching assistants" related to their curriculum learning and participate in service learning to contribute to social welfare.

※目前未開放大陸人士及學生在臺工作，若雇主聘僱大陸學生工作，將違反臺灣地區與大陸地區人民關係條例，並面臨1年以上7年以下有期徒刑，及新臺幣100萬元以下罰金。

Currently, mainland Chinese individuals and students are not permitted to work in Taiwan. Employing mainland Chinese students for work in Taiwan would violate the Cross-Strait Relations Act and could lead to imprisonment ranging from one to seven years and a fine of up to 1 million New Taiwan Dollars.

✨可以申請畢業後在臺實習嗎 Can I apply for an internship in Taiwan after graduation？

1.應屆畢業僑外生（外國學生、僑生、港澳生）是可以申請留臺實習許可的，最長以畢業後一年為限。

Graduating international students (foreign students, overseas Chinese students, and Hong Kong/Macau students) can apply for an internship permit in Taiwan, which is limited to a maximum of one year after graduation.

2.留臺實習許可需要向向教育部提出之申請，請務必在規定時間內（每年約5月）備齊相關申請資料送至校友中心實習組辦理（務必留意校友中心網頁公告），取得教育部實習許可證明後，即可以在實習單位實習、免申請工作證。

To obtain the internship permit, you need to submit an application to the Ministry of Education. Please make sure to prepare all the required application documents and submit them to the Internship Team of Alumni Center within the specified time frame (usually around May each year). After obtaining the internship permit from the Ministry of Education, you can start interning at your chosen organization without needing to apply for a work permit. (Please pay attention to the announcements on the Alumni Center website.)

3.以學校既有實習合作機構為優先，實習學生需簽署「職場實習合約書」及「個別實習計畫」畢業後在臺實習版。

Priority is given to existing internship cooperation institutions of the university. Internship students are required to sign the "Workplace Internship Contract" and the "Individual Internship Plan" specifically designed for post-graduation internships in Taiwan.

4.請實習生每三個月應繳交實習報告，其格式可採公司內部業務報告格式辦理，並需有實習機構核章，如未提出實習報告，學校必要時得通報教育部廢止實習許可。

Interns are required to submit internship reports every three months, following the format used for internal business reports within the company. The report should be stamped by the internship organization. Failure to submit the internship report may lead to the university reporting the situation to the Ministry of Education, resulting in the cancellation of the internship permit.

5.實習機構如果有不當情事影響實習生權益，經實習生通報學校屬實後，將終止實習契約，並得轉換實習機構，如實習生有適應不佳、表現不良或實習中斷情形，實習機構亦應通知學校，經學校查證屬實後將通報教育部廢止實習許可及居留許可。

If there are any improper incidents affecting the rights and interests of interns in the internship organization, and such incidents are verified based on the intern's report to the university, the university will terminate the internship contract and may arrange a new internship organization for the intern. Similarly, if the intern's performance is unsatisfactory or the internship is discontinued, the internship organization should notify the university. After verification by the university, the internship permit and residence permit may be revoked.

6.實習生津貼將依所得稅法扣繳所得稅，並應參加全民健康保險。

Internship stipends will be subject to income tax withholding as required by the Income Tax Act, and interns should participate in the National Health Insurance.
