1.海外實習前，應清楚了解該國實習相關法規及勞動條件。

Before embarking on an overseas internship, one should thoroughly understand the relevant regulations and labor conditions related to internships in the host country.

2.應辦理符合實習目的的合法入境的簽證。

Obtain a valid visa that corresponds to the purpose of the internship and allows legal entry into the country.

3.應簽署中、外文版實習合約書及個別實習計畫。

Sign both the domestic and foreign language versions of the internship contract and individual internship plan.

4.實習工作相關保險規定各國不同，即使在強制性社會保險之國家，其醫療費用仍相當高昂。建議實習前先了解該國之相關健康保險方式，除系所應辦理實習團險外，學生可再自行投保海外旅遊意外險以提升海外實習期間的保障。

Insurance regulations related to internship work vary from country to country. Even in countries with compulsory social insurance, medical expenses can be quite high. It is advisable to research the relevant health insurance options in the host country before the internship. In addition to the insurance provided by the institution, students may consider obtaining additional travel insurance to enhance their coverage during the overseas internship.

5.應隨時注意自身安全，妥善保管護照等個人身分資料，並遵守當地國法令。

Always be vigilant about personal safety, safeguard your passport and other personal identification documents, and comply with local laws and regulations.

有中華民國國籍且需服役的役男，必須辦理核准出境程序。

Military conscripts with Republic of China nationality who are required to perform military service must go through the procedure for exit approval.

1.如果出國期間為4個月以下，依據「役男出境處理辦法」第4條第1項第7款規定申請短期出境，申請作業可經由內政部役政署網站連結至「役男短期出境線上申請作業系統」（https://www.ris.gov.tw/departure/app/Departure/main）並完成線上申請程序。

If the duration of going abroad is within 4 months, according to Article 4, Section 1, Item 7 of the "Exit Procedure for Military Conscripts," applicants can apply for short-term exit approval. The application process can be completed through the Ministry of the Interior's Conscription Agency website, by accessing the "Online Application System for Military Conscripts' Short-term Exit" (https://www.ris.gov.tw/departure/app/Departure/main).

出境前，請先列印役男出境核准通知單，以及有效護照，才能查驗出境。

Before departure, please print the approved exit notice for military conscripts and have a valid passport for exit verification.

2.如果出國期間為4個月以上，請洽詢系所，以公文書方式提出相關證明文件（最新的戶籍謄本、出國學生名冊、職場實習合約書、護照影本）向戶籍地直轄、縣市政府提出申請，後續各縣市政府將回函核發核准出境通知，後續至「役男短期出境線上申請作業系統」（https://www.ris.gov.tw/departure/app/Departure/main）並完成線上申請程序。出境前，請列印核准通知單及有效護照，才能查驗出境。

If the duration of going abroad is more than 4 months, please contact your department or institute and submit relevant supporting documents through official letters (latest household registration transcript, list of students studying abroad, internship contracts, and passport copies) to the local household registration offices or county/city governments. Subsequently, each county/city government will respond with an approved exit notification. Afterward, proceed to the "Online Application System for Military Conscripts' Short-term Exit" (https://www.ris.gov.tw/departure/app/Departure/main) to complete the online application process. Before departure, please print the approved exit notice for military conscripts and have a valid passport for exit verification.

3.以上事項敬請出境前30日提出以利盡速辦理。

Please kindly submit the above-mentioned documents at least 30 days before your departure to facilitate prompt processing.

✨大陸地區實習有甚麼需要需要注意的地方嗎Are there any points to note for internships in mainland China？

1.依據兩岸人民關係條例，兩岸教育交流目的在於促進相互瞭解與溝通，並應本「對等互惠」原則，遵循兩岸條例、相關法規及現行政策辦理各項教育交流活動，請注意兩岸交流應不得有違反法令規定或涉有政治性內容，也不應涉及陸方黨政軍機關機構交流。

　Based on the Cross-Strait Relations Act, the purpose of educational exchanges between Taiwan and mainland China is to promote mutual understanding and communication, following the principle of "equal and reciprocal" treatment. All educational exchange activities should adhere to the laws, regulations, and current policies of both sides. Please be aware that such exchanges should not violate any legal provisions or involve political content, and they should not include exchanges with the mainland Chinese government or military institutions.

2.依據教育部臺教文(二)字 第1122501861號來函，各系所於出發前一個半月提供國際處活動相關內容、成員名單及辦理兩岸教育交流活動檢核表，並於活動完成後20日內提供國際處活動概況報告，以利國際處依規定填報「赴陸教育交流活動登錄平臺」。

　According to the letter with reference number Taidiao-Wen-2 Zi No. 1122501861 from the Ministry of Education, each department should provide relevant information about the exchange program to the Office of International Affairs at least one and a half months before departure. This information should include the details of the activity, the list of participants, and the checklist for handling cross-strait educational exchanges. After completing the activity, please submit a summary report to the Office of International Affairs within 20 days to facilitate the registration of the activity on the "Platform for Recording Cross-Strait Educational Exchanges."

3.請記得辦理台胞證，若為役男請依上述說明辦理役男出境程序。

Please remember to apply for a Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents (Tai Bao Zheng). For military conscripts, please follow the instructions above to complete the exit procedure.

✨我有中低收入戶資格，有甚麼需要需要注意的地方嗎 As a qualified recipient of low to moderate income household status, are there any points to note？

1.根據《社會救助法》規定，中低收入戶的認定，除了依據家庭收入外，亦規定申請戶內的人口一年內要實際在臺居住超過183天，因此參與海外實習超過183天將可能取消中低收入戶資格，為避免嚴重影響學生權益，教育部已與衛福部研議補助措施。

According to the "Social Assistance Act," the determination of low to moderate income household status is based not only on the family's income but also on the requirement that all household members must have actually resided in Taiwan for more than 183 days within one year. Therefore, participating in an overseas internship for more than 183 days may result in the cancellation of the low to moderate income household status. To avoid severe impact on students' rights, the Ministry of Education has been working with the Ministry of Health and Welfare to devise subsidy measures.

2.請各位同學應於出國前2個月務必通報系所及校友中心，以利通報學務處並完成填報。

It is essential for all students to report to their respective departments and alumni center at least 2 months before going abroad. This facilitates the reporting to the Office of Student Affairs and completion of relevant documentation.

3.請各位同學回國後注意以下事項：

Upon returning to Taiwan, students should take note of the following:

(1)同學向學校報到後，系所應盡速通知校友中心以及時函知學生戶籍所在地縣市政府社政單位。

After reporting back to the school, the department should promptly inform the alumni center and notify the local government's social welfare department of the student's household registration status.

(2)後續學務處學雜費減免承辦人即可在系統查詢到學生資料，如無法查到，請學生向社政單位申請紙本證明。

The responsible personnel in the Office of Student Affairs can access student information in the system for tuition fee waivers. If the information is not found, students should apply for a paper certificate from the local social welfare department.
